Tribute doesn’t begin to describe the magic that happened Saturday night in Los Angeles.
A touching, as Don Henley put it, possible “last dance” took place in Dodger Stadium to the presence of thousands of people.
Bob Seger, along with Glenn Frey’s son Deacon, took turns belting out lead vocals in what was very much an emotional night for everyone in attendance.

Finally everyone’s talking!
Don Henley confirmed a few weeks ago that Deacon Frey, Glenn Frey’s 24 year old son, would be helping fill the big shoes left behind by the death of Glenn Frey last year.
After seeing Deacon perform some of his dad’s songs at a private memorial last year, Don Henley said then that “If there’s ever going to be a gig for all of us, I would want Deacon to be part of it.”
But when he officially announced that Deacon would be joining them, Henley also said someone else would be going out with them too.

Yes, the surviving members of the Eagles love and miss Glenn Frey but as musicians, should be able to continue on doing what they love.
No. It isn’t the Eagles without Glenn Frey. They need to rename themselves.
After Frey’s death, Don Henley immediately came out and said the Eagles were no more but in the past few months he seemed to waver on that stance.
