Friday night at a show in Los Feliz, California, Lindsey Buckingham told the crowd how he feels about being fired from Fleetwood Mac about a month ago.
“I have sadly taken leave of my band of 43 years, Fleetwood Mac. This was not something that was really my doing or my choice,” Buckingham told the crowd.
“I think what you would say is that there were factions within the band that had lost their perspective.”

The end of an era – again.
Lindsey Buckingham is no longer a member of Fleetwood Mac. For the second time in their history, the guitarist has left the group, according to Variety.
This time, though, he may not have left by choice. Rolling Stones is now reporting he has been fired after a “disagreement over the band’s upcoming tour.”
In a statement, the band has announced that Heartbreakers’ guitarist/songwriter/producer Mike Campbell will be joining the band for the upcoming tour.
Stevie Nicks and Mike Campbell are tight, as she has been called an “honorary Heartbreaker.”

The album is titled “Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie” but it features Mick Fleetwood on drums and John McVie on bass. It’s pretty much a Fleetwood Mac album without Stevie Nicks.
